Ducted air conditioners installation
Ducted air conditioner installation is about concealed climate control: only neat grilles/slots remain visible, while the unit and lines stay hidden. Here, air distribution, static pressure, quietness and service access are critical — and all of it is solved by installation quality.
What is included
- Unit placement considering access to filters, drainage and service.
- Duct/plenum installation, insulation, airtightness and correct details.
- Grilles/diffusers installation per design and aligned with finishing.
- Drainage: slopes, traps, pumps (if needed), leak protection.
- Power and controls: correct wiring, thermostats/remotes, sensors.
- Distribution and mode setup (when possible during start-up stage).
- Noise control: speeds, vibrations, sound attenuation elements.
- Operating and service recommendations after handover.
Key risks and how we mitigate them
No access
We design access panels and service zones so maintenance doesn’t require dismantling finishes.
Grille noise
We control speeds, build proper plenums and transitions, use isolation.
Drain leaks
Correct slopes, traps and detail control — critical for concealed installation.
What to agree in advance
- Ceiling heights and where soffits/niches for ducts are acceptable.
- Grille type and their alignment with furniture/lighting/interior axes.
- Space for the unit and routes, service access.
- Where drainage goes and any wet-zone constraints.
- Control scenarios (rooms/zones, “night”, “guests”, “away”).
- Noise limits — especially for bedrooms and home offices.
Before closing the ceilings
- We verify access to filters and drainage: hatches must be convenient, not “for show”.
- We control airtightness of details and insulation quality in critical areas.
- We lock final grille/slot dimensions aligned with lighting and furniture axes.
- We ensure speeds and details won’t create noise in bedrooms.
- We document “as it must be” for contractors to avoid unauthorized substitutions.
- If needed — we plan staged start-up so you don’t have to wait for the full renovation.
